Commentary

The Pay Slip is a useful tool that will help HR Advance users comply with the record-keeping provisions of the Fair Work Act and its corresponding regulations.

Relevant legislation requires an employee be given a pay slip within one working day of payment for any work performed.

Failure to comply with legislative requirements imposed with respect to pay slips could result in the imposition of civil penalties by the Fair Work Ombudsman.
